Uist Self catering Cottages are two cottages (TORRANGORM and TIGH A CHIDHE), located on the Isle of North Uist.

Torrangorm is an attractive modernised holiday cottage situated in a peaceful setting on the outskirts of Lochmaddy with stunning views of the lochs and the hills. Tigh A Chidhe is a newly renovated Semi Detached holiday House situated in village of Lochmaddy with a beautiful outlook over the sea. Both properties are ideally located for excellent sandy beaches and recreational pursuits.

Lochmaddy (Loch nam Madadh ) is the main town on the island and it is home to the ferry terminus and also provides an ideal base to explore the island.

North Uist is a stunning blend of beaches, machair lands and freshwater lochs interrupted by rolling dark moorland hills. The island measures some 18 miles from east to west by 12 miles from north to south and it takes roughly 45 minutes to travel round the island. 

With ferry fares now reduced to the Outer Hebrides in line with the Scottish Government's pilot scheme of Road Equivilant Tariff, there has never been a better time to visit the Uists!
