Lochmaddy is the main ferry terminal for North Uist.  There are also ferries that run from Oban/Mallaig to Lochboisdale in South Uist, Berneray to Leverburgh in Harris and Eriskay to the Isle of Barra. All car ferries are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne and for reservations please use the Caledonian MacBraynes website www.calmac.co.uk
